The Station - Full Service Coffee Shop
Wow! What can I say about this major renovation of an old full service gas station that I can remember my mom frequenting often when I was child. One of those core memories where you can remember sitting in the backseat and your mom just says "Fill'er up please". Something we don't have anymore in our small little town. And while we do have some good coffee shops in town, none have the convenience of offering a drive-thru which is going to be a game changer!
The Station is located on the corner of Seymour and Main street as you are headed into town. Many people like myself will drive past it every day on their way to work. I see a lot of drive-thru regulars in their near future, me being one of them.
John and Alexis Janiszewski have truly embraced the old gas station. If you had driven by during their construction process, you may have noticed that the two of them have put in a lot of personal work into the building, including Alexis painting the black lines in-between each white brick (Yes Alexis, I saw you out there with that little paint brush lol).
I had the pleasure of getting to know both John and Alexis as well as being allowed to come in and photograph the new shop and even a little on opening day! Photos below. Enjoy!
